How we deliver
Mobile Units delivers nationwide across the United Kingdom.
Standard delivery vehicle: 12-metre articulated flatbed lorry.

Unloading
Unloading is by HIAB-equipped vehicle (truck-mounted crane).
We typically arrange unloading at local rates.
For self-unload, minimum lifting strap/chain length is 4.0 metres
(5.0 metres for larger modules).

Site access requirements
– Level, compacted ground,
– Minimum vehicle access: 3.5 metres wide, 4.5 metres high clearance,
– No overhanging cables or branches on approach,
– Clear positioning area for crane operation.

Site preparation (client responsibility)
– Concrete slab, paving blocks, or compacted hardcore with concrete pads,
– Drainage if required for sanitary units,
– Electrical supply termination within 5 metres of unit position.

Single-module units (portable offices, kiosks, garden rooms)
– Delivered fully built,
– Crane-lifted into position in one day,
– Operational the same day.

Multi-module buildings (modular offices, larger structures)
– Modules delivered on multiple lorries (one module per truck),
– Joined on-site by our installation team,
– Typical installation time: 1–3 days depending on size.

Special cases
– Restricted access sites: we arrange smaller vehicles with HIAB,
– Channel Islands / Northern Ireland: sea freight arranged separately,
– Difficult sites: we offer site survey before delivery (free).
